Since 2014, I have focused my degree on studying Game Design at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. The majority of my classes have been focused on game design, ranging from introductory & advanced game design courses, as well as courses focused in scripting for Unity, a course focused on the producer’s role in game development, and 3d level design. On top of these, I have done multiple Independent Studies including Oculus VR, creating Mod-Packs for Civilization V, and a project creating an Audio Library and recording sounds for the university. All of this has been done under Professor Ken Bowen.
Some of my works include:
ZombiJam:
ZombiJam is an audio based puzzle game where the player must use music to attract and repel Zombies in order to solve the puzzles and escape the facility. It was a collaborative final project for my Advanced Game Design & Development class created by myself, Tom Lee, Daniel Lee, and Tim Poulin. It was created in Unity 5 in 2015 for a project that required us to make an “audio based game” in 10 weeks.
ZombiJam can be found Here (Unity Web-Player may not work in Chrome)
Falling Like Time (Unreal engine Cinematic Cutscene):
Falling Like Time is a short cinematic cutscene focusing mostly on implementing motion-captured animations into Unreal 4’s 3d environments. It follows the brief heist between two partners trying to get out of poverty…until something goes awry.
Falling Like Time can be viewed Here.
Legacy of Bohemia Civilization V Modpack:
Featured more under my Modding page, I am creating Civilization V mods for my current independent study. The pack, once completed, will contain fully playable civilizations of The Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Czechoslovakia.
The Legacy of Bohemia can be found Here.
Oculus Rift Music Experience:
On the Oculus Rift, my team of two worked on creating a VR ‘roller-coaster’ experience set to Alt-J’s song Tessellate. My primary duties were pathing and laying out the level design for the user’s experience, as well as placing environmental hazards, particle effects, and visual aids.
Various Clone Projects:
I have also created a multitude of game clones in Unreal ranging from Arkanoid to a Rogue-like.
